Friendly staff and pub was quiet on both our visits midweek in November. We ate here on a second visit and the food was tasty, fresh & good value. Dog friendly and landlady was chatty. Only downside for us was lack of ale but that must be down to regular clientele drinking habits. We enjoyed the Staropramen on tap though. Definitely give this pub a go if you're in the area, the decor is quirky & we enjoyed our visits.
The only thing i was disapointed with...Was that i hadnt been there before. Sfaff are all friendly, and for the price, the Carvery was great. Plenty of choice and plenty there. Really good choice of puddings which all hit the spot. Well Worth The Visit.. as Arnie once said.."l Be Back".
Gorgeous panini and probably some of the best chips I've ever had! Lovely outdoor seating area which overlooks the river. Bliss!
The Abercamlais put food on after my mother's funeral. I would like to thank all those involved. Plenty of choice and the food was very good. Which they kept replenishing the table. Well done.
Lovely pub with a friendly atmosphere serving affordable and tasty food. Great for a quick drink or a quick bite. They are also doing a great job with social distancing
We were staying nearby for a weekend hen do. Went to the pub for a meal for 10 of us on Saturday night. Really friendly staff and superb, plentiful food. Cheers
Really nice place, drinks are relatively cheap including the food. There's a dot board, pool table and karokee for entertainment. There's also 2 different compartment with its own individual toilets. Really lovely place for a relax evening weather it's for a pint, to watch tge footy, for a game of pool or with the missues for a meal.
Visited on a weekend away, double checked they allowed a dog in for a meal.. which they did! Lady at the bar was lovely, great food, portions and price! Pub was spotlessly clean, look forward to coming back in the future!
Brilliant staff.lovely place,very clean . Brilliant carvery,loads of food coming out freshly cooked regular.Many different veg to choose from ,also dog friendly,pretty little River garden at rear with small car park .
Visited recently for Sunday Carvery. One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had! Roast beef was perfectly cooked and was given plenty of it. Good choice of veggies. Couldn’t fault it.
