Welcome to ABC Powermarine, a boatyard based at Beaumaris, Anglesey, established in 1934. We aim to offer an all-round service for the boatowner in our modern facilities, including boat storage, servicing and repair as well as an extensive chandlery.
Story
We offer boat storage in both the boatyard and the north yard of Gallows Point for yachts and powerboats. We operate a new Wise 14 tonne boat hoist for hauling out and launching. Water and electricity are available.
Our workshops are capable of accommodating vessels up to 40ft / 12.5m and we can undertake marine engineering work, general repairs and refits, respraying and GRP repairs, including insurance work.
We are Anglesey's only Mercury and Mercruiser Service Centre and are dealers for Yanmar and Vetus diesel engines.
We offer a full brokerage service with many new and used boats available and are a dealer for Quicksilver Activ and Captur boats; Valiant RIBs; and Monterey Cruisers and Sportsboats.
Our large and well-stocked chandlery is open 7 days a week holds a wide range of products as well as surfwear, leisure clothing and wet weather gear.
As a distributor for Vetus boat equipment, we carry a large stock and offer a mail-order service, including special offers only available through our online store.

I called in right at the end of the day, as I was passing and needed to get a few spares to enable me to get my boat out on the water a few days later. I didn't expect them to have half of what I needed in stock, but was pleasantly surprised to find I was able to get everything I needed. Not just that, but when I compared prices on 2 of the more expensive items, I found their prices to be as competitive as the larger mail order chandlery suppliers. So overall, great service, great stock range, very good staff knowledge and great pricing too. Many thanks!

I wintered my yacht here in 2017. The hauling out process and team were excellent and took great care of everything. They also did a great job of servicing the engine. The staff are always really friendly and helpful and give good advice if you ask for it. Storage facilities and other amenities are what you would expect of a busy boat yard - nothing fancy but everything you need and all in good working order. Launch for the summer was just as smooth as hauling out. My boat will be back there again this winter.
Well stocked chandler shop and very helpful. Took my boat in with a problem with the Mercruiser engine in the middle of August and although they were busy and booked up for two weeks they said they were able to squeeze it, get the part sent express overnight and get me back on the water for the weekend within 48 hours. Great service!
Fantastic service. Best supplier that I have dealt with yet!! From a customer on the Scottish Canals where there is a severe shortage of Chandleries! Thanks ABC team!! Will definitely use you for all my needs in the future.
