Excellent school and collage . cause staff are lovely there I been they I was at that college I would recommended to anyone lovely school nothing wrong with staff kind make good new friends very helpful school and college. It is my son William Woods last day at school tomorrow in Abbey Hill Academy. He has been lucky enough to have had such an amazing teacher in Mr Andy Pearson. There are just not enough ways to say thank you to him, for all of the support he has given to William over the last 5 years. Andy has been incredible, such a tower of strength, and a massive influence, on what has been a massive journey for William. William will miss you so much Andy. He has put his total trust in you, and you have never let him down, never failed him, or myself. There will never ever be another teacher to equal you, or what you have done, and achieved with him. It hasn't always been easy, William has certainly had his 'moments', but you have always managed him, championed him, and always praised him and nurtered him. You have brought out the best in him, instilling good moral standards, truth, honesty and respect, always making sure he's aware of how valued, and respected he is, as a pupil, ultimately turning him into the amazing young man he is today. Your future students are going to be so lucky to have you as their teacher and mentor. I know that William will carry everything he has learnt from you, as he embarks on the next chapter of his educational chapter, into Abbey Hill sixth form. He won't let you down or disappoint you. If William turns out to be a role model, of the amazing person that you are, because of your teaching, patience, guidance, and professionalism, I am going to continue to be a very proud parent. And I'm sure he will aspire to do just that. Andy, you deserve this recognition, and more. True dedication, that, as a parent, of a child, with such complex needs, means so much. To everyone else in Abbey Hill, who has supported William through his secondary school years, thank you all. Each and everyone of you, have played a massively important role in his life, and William and myself would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Our gratitude to you all, especially Andy Pearson, is beyond measure. Keep up the good work. You are all truly amazing people. Andy Pearson, like I mentioned earlier, there will never be another teacher, and mentor that will ever equal you. William is going to miss you, and everyone else so much. Thank you all.
It is a great School and they have very friendly and helpful teachers and teaching assistants
Best school ever great teachers,great education,and supportive friends ideal for disabled children
I went for 5 years and if it wasn't for a certain 2 member of staff I wouldn't of given it 2 stars most of the teachers are absolute bullies and tortured me :
This school does amazing things for children who need help with their autism.
I go there and it is a great school for disability kids
I used go to Abbey Hill school my teacher was called John Youdale
the most horrible five years of my life.
