Terrible customer service..do no know rhe meaning of the words. Waited 1.5 hours for them to turn up then i called and was told he would ring me back...no surprise no call back and they ignore all calls. Called next day no answer. Called again to complain and man came out to quote saying would get quote next day. No quote after 3 days sent e mail no reply 2 dsys later..still waiting. Have used them before but even then they don.t bother..well forget it now..never again..do not use them. They dont care less.
Ordered 10 posts 10 panels 3 weeks back.. took payment in full and delivery was a week later... well after phoning for 3 days straight and getting no answer because it wasn't delivered I sent my friend up there... they said sorry for running later and it will be delivered on Wednesday a week later... they just rang a day after the new date and asked for details so they can refund . Waste of time.
Time wasters. Booked an appointment with me, turned up earlier than agreed and took measurements. Spoke to several different people and was promised a quote within a couple of days, never arrived. Called back twice since, they answer and then cut me off each time, how childish. Poor customer service, wasted enough time so got someone else to do the job. Wouldn't consider using Abbey Fencing ever again even if they agreed to do the job for free.
Happy when taking your money and they asked me what time I wanted the delivery so I requested a delivery for after 11 to allow access. The delivery arrived earlier than requested so it was dumped in the front garden as no one was home. I called to complain and the very rude man put the phone down. That’s great customer service NOT! It will be the last time I use this company.
Needed some fence panels , intermediate posts & gravel boards at short notice . Spoke to Abbey & they were extremely helpful; . On 2 occasions I ordered my goods & they were there the next day as promised all off loaded & stacked neatly . I went for the lower value feather edged boards & was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them . I still have a bit to do & will most certainly be using & recommending them .
Came to property, 40 minutes before agreed appointment time. Took details, measured up damaged fencing. Phoned week later said would get back to me before end of day, no one did. Phoned week later after no one picking up. Said had quote would email it out to me that evening. Waited two week rang and was looking for details and hung the phone up on me. Enough is enough, why waste their time and other people just say no so I can move on. Complete joke wouldn't even give them a star. Stay clear of these time wasters.
My fence was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago. At that time, I called and was told my fence was on the truck and would be with me within a few hours. I live 2 miles away from abbey fencing. It never arrived. I popped in today, told them who I was, only to be told my order was for collection. He said he can deliver it at 5pm today... it's now 18:15. God knows what excuse they'll have when I turn up there tomorrow. It's an appalling service.
Ok, similar theme. Turned up 15mins early. Parked over my drive. Told quote would be with me by later in the day and nothing. Still waiting. Asked for an estimate but couldn't get one as " he wasn't close enough to the prices" Must be nice to have so much business you can turn it away.... Shabby Abbey.....
Appalling service. I arranged for a survey / quote for 9:30am Saturday morning. By 10:30 no one had turned up. I called and was told they would call the surveyor to find out where he was, and calll me back in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes of no one calling me back, I called them again, they cut me off and then didn't answer my calls again. If the fencing is as good as their customer service, it might stay standing for a couple of days.
