Great company always happy to come and take a look. We have used them for dishwasher, over, washing machine and dryer issues and each time they have resolved the issue quickly and at a good price. The engineers they send older chap and younger lady are both personable, polite and skilled; would recommend to anyone.

April 2020 Three visits by a so called engineer and £66 later they hadn’t fixed my dishwasher. That’s fine, maybe it is past it’s peak....so I ordered a new one through the femal boss. With very or nil communication from the shop it’s anyone’s guess as to what is going on! I’m not the first to complain / review about shockingly poor communication. After ringing to complain about the several day silence I was sworn at the f word and the telephone was duly slammed down. To have a dishwasher on order and with no idea when it's going to arrive isn't very nice. Especially with a family! I’ll let you decide if you wish to deal with this company. They used to be good but not anymore. I cannot recommend. If rude and inept service is your bag then you have found an excellent starting point.
I called Abbey Electrical yesterday to ask them to look at our washing machine and spoke to a very helpful lady called Melanie, they came today and as suspected it’s past the point of repair, zero charge. I took the decision to buy one from them which after a few calls with Melanie has been delivered this afternoon, the same day. The lady and gent who delivered were brilliant, exceptional service all round, this is something you never get with the High-street brands, it’s not always about price, for me service is key and without hesitation I will always buy from Abbey Electrical and support local. Keep up the good work, you are a real asset to Knaresborough.
We have just had a fridge freezer supplied and fitted by abbey electrical, what an brilliant company, they came and measured up for the new one and 2 days later came and fitted it, they also took our old one away and all rubbish wow
Came out very quickly to look at our washing machine. Unfortunately it needed replacing so bought our new machine through Abbey Electrical. Delivered and fitted the new machine the day after I bought it and took away the old machine. Fantastic service.
Disgraceful bad language from the owner today, after complaining about the acute lack of communication regarding our broken dishwasher. After three visits by their engineer we received just one telephone call and that was from the engineer himself advising about what was actually going on! I’m not the first to complain about this aspect of the business. I have reported the rude owner, Claire, to the trading standards department and knaresborough chamber of trade. I will NOT tolerate being sworn at with four letter words when making a reasonable complaint! Shame on you claire!! If you think swearing at decent honest customers and then slamming the phone down is a solution to running your business then it’s time you packed up and did something else. I’m disgusted by your behaviour today. Highly unprofessional and unpleasant attitude.
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour by this company. After 3 visits to try to fix my dishwasher I rang to complain. The owner told me to F off and hung up on me. Absolutely appalled by Claire the owners behaviour and utter rudeness. Exceeding poor communication. Reported to trading standards in due course. Use at your peril and financial loss.
Oh my goodness.!!!!!!! I had just moved and my washing machine was not working. But they came same day!!!!. It was sorted that day. It was amazing. Thank you thank you. Wendy Watson . .
Hoover went in for repair. Was broken during the process and couldn't be fixed due to their error. There was no communication in over 4 months. An unsatisfactory replacement, much cheaper model, was useless. Made carpets dirtierServicesGeneral repairs
