What a surprise. Looks like an other kebab restaurant from the street, but the food is fabulous and the staff friendly and helpful. From the starters, the Fried Aubergine with Walnuts and Onions was smooth and very tasty, and the Mantoo Afghan dumplings from the main courses was delicious and unlike anything I've tasted before. NB No coffee or wine on the menu Highly recommended.
I first tried this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. I tried the Qabuli Palaw, Lamb Tikka, Chapli Kabab, Sabzi Chalow and lots of other stuff as I had family over and we all wanted to try a new cuisine. I must say that I was quite impressed with the staff, food and the hospitality. Everyone was so friendly and the presentation of the food was quite something. I would defenitely reccomend this restaurant to other people, especially to those who have children as its a family friendly environment.
The service on this occasion was horendously bad, albeit the food was very good - so it is a real shame. I have read similar things on other web sites, however I always like to find out for myself.They had made a mistake regarding our order hence we had to drive back from Barnet. I approached them in a very friendly way, however, I received a tirade of abuse as they became very defensive and blamed me for not watching them carefuly to ensure that I got what we had ordered. Three people confronted me and speaking about me in their native language. Very intimidating for a woman alone.
I really enjoy the food from this restaurant , very tasty and the staff seemed to be friendly enough every time i go there
