I strongly recommend training with A2Z Riding, everyone in the team was great. Don't jut randomly choose the cheapest or the closest school to where you live, but make sure it's someone you can trust with training you properly. Practically I needed a total of 7 days to get from 0 to having an A2 license including all test date, cbt, mod 1, mod 2, theory. Both my CBT and my A2 I was trained by Ossie and Shane and they were great at it. They give sensible advice to all parts of the test, and if you make sure to listen to what they have to say and follow their instructions you will be guaranteed to pass your test. What I also liked is that along the training they ask you a lot of questions before answering them themselves and it makes you remember the information much better since you already struggled finding out the answer yourself. Keep in mind that you need proper clothing when you go to the trainings, you can ask Tina on the phone and she will tell you what you need : Another plus for me was that the Highbury and Islington garage location is very close to where I live and it was convenient to go there. Anyways, I also enjoyed going to the trainings since the overall atmosphere it's very familiar after a bit and is nice hanging around :D.  P.S.: the bikes are really nice, both the CBT manual transmission ones and also the DAS scheme ones  and they run very smoothly :

I've just completed my Direct Access course with A2Z Rider Training, and delighted to have passed my motorcycle test first time! From the moment I first called them, I knew I'd made the right decision. Tina was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Ozzie and Shane, my two instructors were seriously helpful and have an excellent style of instruction. The bikes, Yamaha ML07's were brand new, and a perfect choice as a learner bike. And with only 2 students per instructor, it was a perfect ratio to ensure I got the most out of the course. I would highly recommend this company.

I took a DAS course with A2Z rider and passed Modules 1 and 2 on the same day. Tina, Ossie and Shane were extremely professional and got the best out of my riding skills. Training is really efficient and practical: on top of regular rides, we did a mock test for Module 2 and went to the test center to practice for Module 1 on a Sunday. So when I took the test I  knew exactly what to do and felt confident and passed! The training bikes were brand new and enjoyable to ride. Not only the training is top notch quality and rigorous, it was also a lot of fun. The whole team is friendly which made my training a real positive experience. Would definitely recommend.

I just passed my Direct Access test this morning after a four day training course with A2Z Rider Training.  I did my CBT with these guys 2 years ago and liked them so much that I did my full licence course with them too.  I found my experience of the training course to be very fulfilling.  I had two instructors over the four days, Ozzy and Shayne who were both really good, patient and knowledgeable.  The bike I used, Yamaha MT-07 was brand new, a really great bike.  The test itself is by law hard to pass, however I felt I had been given all the skills and tips to pass first time and in my case I did so with zero minors, an A* test result if you will, which I think says a lot about the level of skill they got me to.  I would strongly recommend the course to all friends or family who were looking to take out their full licence.  I’ve not been able to stop smiling all day.  Go with these guys, you won’t be disappointed.

A2Z is a great school to work with! I did both CBT and Direct Access Scheme with them. Ozzie and Tina are great to give advise and the best plan of action, thank you both!  My Direct Access Scheme was done with Fluffy and Shane. They are amazing teachers, they don’t just teach you how to pass, they teach you how to continue riding safely and prepare you for your life on the bike. This is the main reason I recommend a2z, as someone who commutes in London daily I find this experience vital. I am confident to say that I am a much safer rider now! I did my MOD1 and MOD2 in one day, which is how A2Z recommends it, as everything is done all in one go and no need to wait for mod2 for weeks. I have passed both mod1 and mod2 with my first attempt with only few minors. The lessons were extremely hard, but who cares when you get a full licence in just 5 days?  If you do everything they say, you will pass!  As I passed, I went straight to the dealership for a test ride and picked up my new bike the next day. Thanks Fluffy especially Fluffy and Shane! Renewed my CBT here, great place. Instructors are friendly, confident and know their stuff, able to quickly spot and adapt to how myself and the other riders were handling everything. Rental bikes and other safety gear is all decent kit, too. I've recommended A2Z to my friends and colleagues since first went here a couple of years ago, and will continue to do so.

I was referred by a friend and when I got in touch it was plain sailing from cbt to obtaining full licence.  . Tina in charge of administration very friendly helpful and professional always explaining everything clearly and patiently. ... Ossie always relaxed hands on proprietor who   helps you every step of the way with friendly and professional manner I spend my test day with Ossie  as Shane the instructor whom I spend 4 days of training with, was off that day.  If you ever join A2Z rider training you will have a great experience as well as a licence all right. . Yea is one of Shane's lines.. He is another great member of the team with a  great personality. I like to thank everyone at A2Z Rider training for making my training a great experience to always remember  alright yea.

I did my cbt with a2z. It was such a good experience that I decided to do the full license with them on the direct access course. Tina was great at helping me get my course booked and information sorted, always responding quickly whenever I had a query. The course itself was exactly as I'd hoped. The bikes were brand new and perfect to learn on. Most of all the tuition was excellent. Ozzy and Shane were brilliant, very friendly and taught with a great mixture of information and encouragement. They helped me stay calm and focused. And now because of this course and all at a2z I have my full license. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

I completed my CBT with A2Z and couldn't recommend them highly enough. The whole day ran so smoothly and was the cold weather was helped by the fact that all the instructors were really friendly, funny and helpful. I spent a lot of time with Rob who also helped talk me through taking the next step with my motorbike license and helped recommend bikes that I was interested in. Choose A2Z if you want your CBT or to take up a motorbike license.
