I couldn't recommend a1 football factory more. My little boy has been training with Ryan for over 2 years now and the difference in him is incredible. My little boy is autistic and struggles massively with a lot of social aspects but the confidence training at a1 gives him is a wonder to see. Ryan is a fantastic coach and a true asset to a1, he is patient, kind, welcoming and a brillaint teacher. He builds a great atmosphere whilst developing the children and creating a trusted bond. The facilities are very good made even better by the staff and coaching team.
My little boy started in Tots a little over 18 months ago, his coach through out has been Ryan. Ryan is just incredible with the kids. These sessions are about so much more than learning to play football. They are about listening, discipline, standards and teamwork - all be it, solely down to Ryan and his individual approach to each child. Little boy asks every night, “Dad am I playing football tomorrow?”nnFacilities and environment all vibrant, clean and safe and plenty of viewing space to watch.
The football coach Ryan, who coaches the VI children, is amazing at what he does. He is very patient with the kids and ensures every child gets chance to play regardless of their abilities. From day 1 he was building confidence in our kids, some of them not confident enough or have the ability to even kick the ball properly. They all now are skilled and confident players which is amazing to see every Sunday.
We had a party for my son’s birthday on 04/01/026, having hosted and attended many parties here before, this experience was unexpectedly poor.nnStaff were unapproachable and offered very little guidance, leaving us unsure how the party was meant to run. There was multiple changes with food organisation throughout with very little guidance, creating more stress than necessary. Basic support had to be requested, including calling the children to eat, lighting the cake, and music arrangements, even though when asked on the phone if a staff member would coordinate this I was told yes. The focus appeared to be on taking payment at the start rather than providing a welcoming, organised experience. In previous experiences payment was always taken at the end. The lack of communication and information was very poor.nnDespite informing staff that not all children would attend, payment was insisted to be taken upfront, resulting in us paying for children who did not come. This also led to an excessive amount of wasted food, which many parents commented on.nnOverall, the party lacked the friendliness, organisation, and support expected for a children’s event. It was disappointing on what should have been a special day. I hope this feedback is taken on board to improve future parties.
Visually Impaired VI football sessions for kids is fantastic. The coaching staff at A1 football are unbelievable and know how to look after and train kids with visual impairment and other disabilities. For our son he has loved every second of his VI journey and is looking forward to the VI football league that the coaches have entered them into, which is a credit to all the players and coaches. All ages and abilities are looked after.
