Had a great dinner at the restaurant. Attentive staff and they were very helpful. The food was really good and large portion sizes and the starter poppadoms came with lovely and fresh condiments. The main meal was really good. Very happy with the restaurant being open to making a side dish in to a main one and making it in to a good portion size. Will definitely go back!
Had an amazing meal there with a friend last night...we both agreed it is our new favourite restaurant!! The food was really great - couldn't fault anything, the service was thoughtful and prompt! We had a cocktail, which was also really tasty! It is a cosy restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious...would highly recommend!!
This is the best Indian food I have ever had. We just happened to find the restaurant in 2019. We ate there multiple times on that trip. We were very excited to see that they were still there I’m when we returned in 2024. It is still the absolute best Indian food.Food: 5/5
Had a great meal there with family for my wife’s birthday. The food was good and the service was excellent. The staff were more than happy to bring out the cake we provided and enthusiastically sing Happy Birthday. They even went the extra mile by fixing the wording of “Happy Birthday” on the cake which had suffered a mishap on the journey. They expertly rewrote the “A” in happy and no one noticed the difference. Couldn’t speak more highly of the staff and atmosphere.
A proper, solid Indian restaurant. Excellent dishes and quality. The king prawn puri is a must as it the chicken Punjabi! The shasliks lamb or chicken are truly brilliant. Very pleasant, traditional atmosphere inside and they always make us feel very welcome. Great spot!Food: 5/5
The manager literally pressured us into writing the review as soon as we ordered, and when we did he made us change it into something more specific according to his own liking. Food: couldn’t finish the butter chicken as it felt like the gravy was few days old. It had a tangy flavour to it, whereas it should be on the sweet side. Overall experience was just disturbed.
What a lovely place to have curry everything is super delicious! The staff are fantastic and take good care of their customers. With your bill you get orange slices and some minty chocolate. I will definitely come back again, in fact I'm excited for the next time. Thank you!!
The first time I visited this place, my initial reaction was "oh wow, very small!" It was quite a challenge to find a comfortable seating position due to the tables being so close to the seats and each other. The abundance of tables made the space feel cramped, and some definitely need to go to allow customers some breathing room. The small tables were overloaded with items, and I even had a close call with a candle that almost singed my arm due to the lack of space. Despite the tight quarters, I must admit the food was truly delicious, and the service was top-notch. However, the claustrophobic atmosphere might deter me from returning, but the tasty food might just convince me to opt for takeout and enjoy it in the comfort of my own home. I'm sorry to say, but it's just a one star rating for the atmosphere here. It didn't quite hit the mark for me.
Very nice food and generous portions. Not the cheapest by far but very nice and great staff. I recommend the lamb dishes.Food: 5/5
