Inviting and spacious with a decent amount of books, only downside is they close rather early but that of course isn’t deserving of less than a five star rating. The staff are super friendly and specifically the lady with the pink fringe, she’s adorable!

My favourite place in Perth! They hold competitions and activities to help uphold reading habits and they offer a wide range of books. They even have a cafe! However, the Young Adult section is in a real need of reorganisation as it's books of all sorts jumbled together. Other than that, easy to use!
The Platinum Jubilee Street Party Fri 3rd June was well worth going to. It was nice to see library staff so helpful and enthusiastic as always The display upstairs was so interesting. Well done everyone!
There is an amazing Makerspace here. 3D printing, poster printing, tee shirt printing, hat printing, mug printing. Plus computers for designing and preparing the prints. Expert advice. Induction session and dedicated email address for support. Very low cost. Essentially material only charges.
A cautious 4 star because we largely abandoned the library for years and years after some sub-optimal experiences with a staff member in the kids section who seemed entirely unsuited to the role. The few times we've been in since that era it's been hit and miss with the staff/culture there. On this visit so far so good. Certainly, the building/facilities are pretty good. There's a cafe. There is an e-book service I've used in the past. Bike parking right outside.
Lovely member of staff with the best smile helped me on the computer with a difficult task, can't thank her enough!
I love this library. The book choice is very varied and I often find recently released titles. On opening up after the Covid lockdown, the measures taken to ensure everyone is safe has been excellent. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
A brilliant library for all ages. The children's section is great. I wish they would reopen the cafe.
