A huge thank you to Sellmans for their professionalism, care and expertise when planning our dad's funeral. From the very first phone call making enquiries, Jade was thorough and courteous. All of the requests we made were met and their kind and caring manner was appreciated. The day itself went smoothly and Edward's words during the service were perfect. They couldn't have done more for us and made an awful situation bearable. Highly recommended
On behalf of my family I would like to thank everyone at A J Sellman, especially Edward. My late mother, Patricia met with him a few years ago to arrange her funeral plan and would have been so proud to have seen how respectful, compassionate and caring he was on her funeral day. During my very first phone call to A J Sellman funeral directors on the passing of my mother-in-Law, Jean Leek, I was met with a calmness, compassion, guidance and complete professionalism from Edward that was so very much needed at that time. This genuine, compassionate, attentive, and utterly professional service was then resonated throughout the entire team we came into contact with at Sellman's, making an extremely traumatic and emotional time completely stress free and gave us the reassurance that Jean was in wonderful hands, being respectfully cared for whilst planning her final journey. Edward personally visited us at home and helped us in planning the most personal and appropriate service; he then continued to facilitate a smooth an unproblematic service keeping us updated throughout. My brother in law & family are in Australia and could have felt very detached and isolated at such a sad time due to the distance however; Edward and his team ensured that they were wholly included in all the planning, sending a link to attend the service remotely and keeping them fully informed and involved via email. As a family we will be eternally grateful for not only the wonderful and very fitting service Edward performed to say farewell to Jean but; also the entire service received from both the Penkridge team, Paul and Gaynor and the Cannock team whom unfortunately I do not have names of to thank personally. On behalf of Betty Boxer and family, I would like to thank Edward and his colleagues for the exceptional service and care provided for the funeral of Derek Boxer. It made the process much easier to have one price - everything was dealt with very efficiently. The flowers were beautiful and the reading was done in a very sensitive way with great attention to detail. Edward was particularly caring and considerate throughout.
