Paul offered 6 of us a good service for a round trip into Kingsbridge.
Absolute scam, meter was running on rate 1 when we arrived he told us he forgot to put rate 2 so charged us an extra £30 and demanded a tip. He was driving 12mph all eve. Absolute scam
Absolute rubbish book a taxi at 1 pm in the afternoon to collect me and my disabled wife from Hope cove for 9.30am and they don’t turn up not a phone call or a text Message to say the booking was cancelled what a joke how can a taxi firm still be in business with this service! Yes if you want to respond to my review I would be glad to to talk to you! Be sending you my fine for drink driving let alone the loss of earnings for me losing my job!!!!
Call twice to confirm booking, did not turn up until I called again. However driver that turned up was good. Made me late for my appointment Would not use again…..
Not 24 hours as advertised, phone is not answered late at night after an hour of trying. Don’t rely on phoning late into the evening as you may end up with a long walk as we did.
I can’t fault the fact that they were punctual and the car arrived when expected. Driver very friendly and helpful. But a short ten minute drive was £18. 00. So was the return. I can’t figure out how they price the service. Very expensive.
Unreliable. Booked for an early start walking, and just didn't show. No answer on their contact number. We had to drive and incurred extra costs as a result. They then called to try and pick us up later in the day, and didn't even offer an apology. Found a local taxi firm who will receive all of our business and a lot of it instead. Avoid A2B!
Unfortunately, despite booking a taxi and waiting over 15 mins at the location it didn’t show up. The booking had been accepted several hours earlier, the relatively high price agreed as it had to come from Kingsbridge, and all calls to enquire went to answer-machine. I’m still none the wiser as to where the car actually was, leaving us stranded and late for an event.
