We went on a quiet Sunday evening and had the set menu. As vegetarians, they catered for us and swapped the meat platter for an all veggie one. All dishes fine except for the Mapo Tofu dish which was incredibly bland and, despite the menu description, wasn't spicy at all. We told our server who was dressed in a suit (maybe an owner?) as opposed to the aprons and white shirts buzzing around, that it was very bland and he just smiled and walked off. We ate everything else whilst this one dish we left barely touched. The same server came over at the end and we reiterated that it was very bland and wasn't spicy at all. He shrugged said "oh well. That is how we cook it," walked off and brought our bill over. The whole experience was let down by this and we won't be returning.

The food is lovely here. However they do not always pay attention to detail e.g a fork could be missing & you have to ask for it. Occasionally the service is a bit slow. Very nice food though

3 stars is basically for the food...the staff were excellent the place is spotless.... Now this place is expensive so i was expecting the best food...ribs n soup were the best of the night.had better sweet n sour chicken from most chinese shops and was bland...wife ordered salt n pepper chicken and it was hard and tasteless also...my son ordered SnP chicken wings..basic crispy chicken with onions n peppers thrown on top.. i asked about prawn crackers and they charged for them (free everyware else) . Its worth a visit but after £105 for 3 i wont be visiting again...

Great food great service in plush surroundings, added bonus its right at Whitefield Met aswell if you dont want to drive😉🎎
