Tastiest cooked breakfast I've ever had with excellent think cut bacon and proper sausages. I don't know how they make the tomatoes taste so good. Perfect pages egg and I want an oatcake with every cooked breakfast now. Honestly every part of it is amazing. Proper sized tea pots too. And Buxton is just lovely

I love this cafe and restaurant, beautiful historic building. Great eclectic decor, very nice food. Cakes to die for and very nice selection of teas. Only issue is no 4g or WiFi, but then it’s quite nice to be in a place where no one is on their phone!!!

Great accommodation, location and very friendly welcome. We were in the attic suite so nice view of the Opera House and self contained space but stairs up were narrow and lots of low beams to negotiate. Bed was very cosy and loved the shared lounge with grand piano that we had to ourselves....

Excellent food, service and good range for vegetarians and gluten free options. A large selection of beautiful cakes and the staff very friendly. Thoroughly recommend a visit

Popped in mid-afternoon and was seated immediately. Asked for afternoon tea, and was surprised to find out they'd run out of scones. But no fear! They whipped up a fresh batch just for us! Everything was delicious and the staff were lovely.

What an absolute treasure! The food is absolutely delicious. Great location overlooking the pavilion gardens and the staff are really friendly! Can’t wait to return :
