438 Coffee Bake

I was recently brought to this lovely little cafe on the Ormeau Road and wasn't sure what to expect. But boy was I in for a surprise. I tasted the most wonderful wheaten bread with scrambled egg washed down with the best cup of coffee I have had for a long time . I am told the bread was just baked that morning on site . It was truly a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back for more The staff and service was first class well done to all .

Overpriced and staff isn't particularly efficient. They also don't provide sauces on the tables. They have one bottle of each sauce for the entire café! Instead of offering us sauce we had to ask for it when we finally got their attention. It's a fry...sauce is standard. I can get a much bigger fry for cheaper in cafés in London with twice the atmosphere and character than this place. And in much better areas where you'd rather be on a Sunday morning.

Tasty scones served warn and good selection of pastries. Apple tart looked delicious.

Fabulous home made scones this morning . Well worth the stop. Service with a smile .. Cappuccino best I have had for some time...wil be back.

Lovely home baked cakes and pies, good coffee and gluten free options. Friendly service.
