This was the perfect place to stay and suited us so well . Very clean and snug - an idyllic cottage . We took our 14 months old pup Barney and he also loved it . It was the perfect base to spend evenings in front of the log burner after a day of exploring wonderful North Wales . We definitely plan on re-booking this cottage next year .
It is a lovely cottage, very cozy. Brilliant that it allows dogs in the down stairs part of it. We received a lovely hand written note to tall us the main oven was not working and that they just found out, which was nice, saving us trouble trying to use it and getting nowhere. It has a lovely communial garden and it's own little court yard out the front of the cottage.nBeware the stairs, they are slippery, I know I took a tumble after a many attempt not to.nnThe area is lovely, has a nice little easy and stunning walk right on your door step
Its lovely cottage, great for dog a walk in front door to the forest is beauiful. Sofa need more updated everything is great.nDefo go back again
The cottage is cosy and situated in an outstandingly beautiful village with a well stocked kitchen and shop within walking distance.nnLovely views of Snowdon from the top of the hill. Dog friendly with lots of good walks in the village, and a train station from which trips to other towns and villages can be made. . Local pub and hotel seem OK and dogs are allowed in the hotel bar.nnThe WiFi is fast and a real bonus.nnDecent clean bedding is provided. Excellent Dyson hoover in stair cupboard. There is a wood burner but we did not use this.nnHowever, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired with old cobwebs behind furniture and under beds. The odd spider cannot be helped but there were four in the bedroom on arrival with thick cobwebs in the window, an arachnophobe's nightmare.nnThe shower is very cramped and towels not provided.nnAlthough there is a garden it is not adjoining the property and access is behind another cottage. There is a small side terrace but access is via the road so care must be taken with dogs.nnThis was our second visit and despite previous comments regarding cleanliness this has not been addressed so I doubt I would return. It remains good value for money with Bettws y Coed and other attractions in close proximity.
Small comfortable week away. Plenty of good walks and hikes nearby. Real diamond in the countryside
