Had a flat tire on a car we'd owned for less than a month. Attempted to use our breakdown cover. We were asked if we had a spare wheel and replied yes, as we thought we had. Turns out we didn't so we called to tell them 5 minutes later, apparently that is a cancellation of a call out and we have to pay £98! Not only that but without us having a spare wheel they can't do anything for us! So we're still stranded and now £98 out of pocket! Absolutely disgusting, flagrantly taking advantage of peoples misfortune. There is no way that couple of mins cost you guys £98. We were likely briefly in a queue that would have taken hours before someone got to us. Looking at options of not paying the £98 and just writing off the cover, seeing as the cover has not covered our breakdown. Do not buy from these guys!
I 100% will not be renewing my policy with 2gether insurance. Called the breakdown cover service when I had a flat tyre. After being on hold for 40+ minutes I was told the best they could do was tow me to a local garage which, was no use at 9pm and 45 miles from home. I was lucky as I had somewhere warm to wait but that kind of response time is of no use when you're broken down at the side of the road. They did however, tell me I could get some of the cost of having a tyre fitter called out reimbursed but provided no information on how to do so, I called the number again at a later date but sat on hold for 45+ minutes without a response.
Google need to introduce 0 star to truly reflect companies such as this one! I made a claim on my breakdown and paid an excess, which is fine because thats my policy. The technician turned up and started the car and told me that it's fine to drive. He advised that I go for a 20 minute drive, which I did. When I returned home and turned ignition off, I tried to start the car again and it didn't start. So I called the company and explained the situation, that the technician did not test the car before leaving and advised it was fine for me to drive. I was told by the company that they can't attend and that there will be a call out charge of £150! What an absolute joke of a company will cancel my policy today!
My initial contact was good. Needed to upgrade policy and had to wait 20 plus minutes before the customer service representative hung up.
Absolute pack of liars. Every week I call and get told my claim payout will be received by the end of the week whilst denying they've already told me that countless times.
Had to change my motorhome 2 months after purchasing the insurance and paying annually up front. 2Gether would not allow me to transfer the insurance to my new vehicle. I was told my only option was to cancel the insurance - losing the money - and then to take out a completely new policy.
Do not use this company. Tried to get someone out last night for a breakdown but after an an hour and half on the phone and no one answering I had to make my own arrangements. Atrocious service and they've charged me £10 admin fee for cancellation, even though I've not received any of the service I paid for. I've made an official complaint but I've had no response so far.
Excellent service every time; I needed to call on them yesterday because of a flat tyre and Emma sorted out a local agent to get to me and resolve the issue quickly and with a friendly, cheerful attitude.
I've used this company for several years for my caravan insurance and had no problems, until I've tried to cancel the policy and get a refund as I've sold the caravan. I've been calling for three days and apparently they can't get through to the underwritters? I'm sure if I was taking a policy out, the underwritters would respond immediately. So use them if you want, but don't expect them to be helpful if you decide to cancel!
Well so far so good, my husband & I have a Ford transit herald motorhome, this is the second year it’s been insured with 2gether, it gives us peace of mind that it’s insured,
