Busy today at the range. Plenty to see and quite a few bargains. Jubilee bunting and union jacks in good supply. Great range of plants as well as some different types of garden furniture not just the usual stuff you find most places. A quiet cafe upstairs too. Only downside was the queue to pay and only 2 tills available. Did I mention they do kitchens too?!?
Wonderful shop, it really has all you could want for home decor or improvements. I found the perfect frames for art work I bought in France years ago. Had a really beautiful cream tea in their cafe & even got myself a bargain in a much discounted lampshade that was missing a gemstone I happen to be in a position to replace! Great stuff...love the Range.
A good store with lots of stock over two floors and a small outdoor garden centre space. The cafe is also a good place to stay and have a cuppa and a bite to eat. Two aspects let the store down however, one is the staff are not very helpful or engaged with what they are doing and the second is the customer toilets.....they have to be the worst smelling and kept up toilets around, they are horrific and should be avoided at all costs. Its a shame as the store does have allot going for it, but work clearly needed to be done.
Josh, garden department, was informative and extremely helpful..can't believe he's only been in post a couple of weeks! Absolute asset to the team along with cashier, Janie, so enthusiastic! Thank you for a lovely shopping experience and all your help!
Be very careful using this store as we turned up early to use this store and found out that it doesn't open until 10.30 on a Sunday then to our amazement a couple of weeks later got a parking ticket for £100 as you cannot park in the car park unless the store is open. We appealed and were turned down so well done to the parking company parking eye and the range, I will not be spending anymore more in your shop again and will be passing my experience on to everyone else.
Visited in the morning and no staff to help on top floor. Had to ask at the kitchen showroom and the gentleman and was very helpful and went to look for someone from the Range. Eventually customer assistant came and did apologise but disappointed item l was looking for has been discontinued. Store announcement staff kept on starting with Good afternoon even though was an hour after opening and would correct to Good morning. I always enjoy my visit to the Range each time but spent more time. Enjoyed the Christmas section.
A very good selection of goods at very reasonable prices. We received help on a specific item from a female member of staff who couldn't have been more patient or helpful. We will certainly be calling again.
There are plentiful choices for the garden, home furnishings, DIY stuff. I always end up buying more than what i intended. All good value for money.
Store was clean and tidy, hardly any staff about to help people though as I spent 15 minutes trying to locate someone for help with a light. Other than that issue the visit was good with lots of stock.
Although I am pleased with the items I bought I found the shop itself was tatty, disorganised and difficult to get around. There were shopping trolleys to use these were all fairly tatty and rusty and the shop really isn't ideal for them, the aisles are too narrow and on the day we visited the lift to the next floor was out of action so when we went upstairs we had to leave our trolleys which have £1 or a token in them and the shopping we'd so far picked up and go up the escalator, there didn't appear to be stairs as an option and the escalator ran so fast both myself and my daughter felt faint. When we returned downstairs we found that someone had connected their trolley to one of ours which took some fiddling about swapping shopping etc in order to retrieve our £1's/tokens. With the competition from other discount type shops I feel that the Range needs to up its game......well this one does! This wasn't a good shopping experience
