Very helpful workers. Loads of fabrics, all unique and different. Just In general amazing. It isn't too expensive either, quite cheap and I got loads of fabrics for a project.

The staff in 1st for fabrics are very helpful. They have helped me find the right fabric for projects from upholstery for a camper to kids clothes. They have even helped me colour match. I took these pics while in the shop and checking with a friend what they would like while I was there.

I live at the opposite end of the country so am not lucky enough to go to the store but have just bought my first online. order.  It was beautifully wrapped in a sheet of pattern paper and with 1st for Fabric’s lovely ribbon on it and with a note saying Happy Sewing! It felt more like a present than a purchase and brightened my morning. The fabric is great too   I’ll be putting 1st for Fabrics first when I’m searching online from now onwards.

I live mid way between Glasgow and Edinburgh so I had to order my material online. I was surprised it arrived so quickly. Lovely fabric, beautifully presented and tied with a ribbon and contained a lovely note from Kayleigh. Thank you Kayleigh, I will indeed have some happy times sewing and will be back again soon for another order.

Great place for fabrics and haberdashery.. hard to find a good physical shop where you can go see and touch fabrics in the flesh. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Their website is useful to see some of what they have before you visit.

Loads of choice, fabric for many different projects. They had quilting cotton, poly cotton, wool and everything in between including some soft furnishings. Very helpful knowledgeable staff who obviously sew themselves and offer expert advice.

Order arrived quickly with a lovely handwritten note. Fabric was good quality and as described.  Thanks!

Amazinggggggg!! So much choice and great staff, even my 3 year old loved it! Very child friendly dispite her screams of excitement; very reasonably priced too, would definitely recommend! I got some avocado material for some aprons, and then some frozen and some cow material for some sun hats super happy!!

Good place for all fabric needs...cheap and good stuff. Staff pretty miserable.but good shop. Staff very disinterested in customers. But heaven if you like fabric.

Nice shop for all needs requiring fabric hobbies ,plenty to choose from. Car parking aplenty
