Family of 8 had lunch after paddle boarding. Barman/waiter was awesome and the food decent pub grub. The portion sizes were huge, the chicken burger was gigumbus!
Very welcoming and terrific food at reasonable price. Dog friendly too. Window fest offers views of Elie golf course. Fife at its best. Pop in off the Coastal Path or after a round of golf. Lots of photos capture the essence of the Home of Golf.
Lovely meal out with family. Although very busy the staff were friendly and took care of us well. Food excellent and great value for money. Well worth a visit.
A small group of us recently spent a long weekend in Earlsferry in celebration of a 40th birthday. The 19th Hole had good reviews and was only a 5 minute walk away. It didn't disappoint ! The staff were very friendly and efficient, especially Courtney, with service being prompt. The food was excellent and due to the cooking area being behind a glass partition, we had a perfect view of Michelle the chef working superbly creating her dishes in what turned out to be an extremely busy and full night. At the end of our evening Michelle came round to us and gave us all a shot of Tequila Rose, having heard we were celebrating a 40th. We decided to go back for dinner the next night and therefore booked a table beforehand. We attended for dinner and were delighted to find we had been given the same table and it had been decorated for us ! Michelle, being a joint owner, acknowledged us when we came in and this time Owen was particularily outstanding. The food was delicious. At the end of our night Michelle spent some time just talking to us which we felt was a very lovely, friendly gesture. It is advisable to book ahead when dining here and we are looking for another excuse to return here in the future
Nice pub right in front of the golf course. Great food and drinks. Staff very nice and helpful. It's not cheap but food is so delicious. The portions are small though. The wine menu is great and not so pricey.
Just popped in to watch the Grand National and get a drink. Fantastic staff and food looked great. Brilliant atmosphere. Would love to go back
Pretty good Guinness, food looked nice but were fully booked mainly seafood so not much for vegans and a nice enough bar near the seaside
We were staying near by and attending The 150th Open. We suggest getting reservations as we tried walking in the evening before and they were booked all night. We're from Nebraska and my wife decided to try the steak of the week which was a ribeye. It was very tender and cooked to our liking. I had the sausage and mash, also very good. You won't be disappointed. Well worth our effort to come back the next night with reservations
Lovely local pub with comfy seating, great menu options and Sky sport on two screens if you'd like to watch live sport. Lovely friendly efficient staff. Definitely recommended. Vegetarian options: Looked like there were definitely vegetarian options but we did not go for them. Kid-friendliness: We were there mid week lunchtime so most children in school but a lovely chatty young lad of about 2 or 3 yo seemed to be having a lovely time and the menu had plenty of child-portion options. Parking: There is no specified parking area but there is parking on the roads nearby, although these may be busy at weekends
Wrong starter arrived, no wine list available, coleslaw was missing from main dish. Tired and grubby. Resembled a cafe. The upside was the fish was very fresh. Disappointing.
