Love this place, the friendliest Landlord Carl & Staff! Sunday lunch is spot on. The live entertainment is Brill Blondie tribute act was amazing, looking forward to Madness! Keep up the good work Carl, absolutely amazing! Xx
Wow. What change to this pub. New management has brought a old pub to life. New menus and fantastic new garden area which was completed during lockdown. Live acoustic bands on certain evenings. Food is fantastic and all freshly cooked. Credit where credit is due. Please check this place out if you get a chance. A very underrated pub in my opinion. With the potential to be a "go to" place if you give it a chance. Family friendly and well set out for social distancing with hand sanitiser throughout.
Called in for a hot beverage and to 'suss out' our future local having viewed a retirement community development that we both would like to move into which is located just around the corner from the pub. We were greeted and served by the landlord and was introduced to his good lady and made to feel very welcome. We shall look forward to visiting again when we take up residency in the not too distant future. Thank you and bless you for making our first visit a pleasant one.
Great pub, not as fancy as some pubs but the food and welcome outways all that. The breakfast is amazing and the Sunday lunch is fantastic. Definitely recommend it .
Visited on Sunday with the family, since it is across the street from where we swim. Very friendly staff, and my boys had a great time in the garden. Sunday roast was great! Will definitely return.
Went for a birthday party 2 adult sunday roast 2 kids £60 pound will not use here again massively expensive for what you get food is very average very disappointed
A typical local pub with a lively local cliental. The pub was clean and a good selection of beer, ciders and lagers.the meal taken was a choice of roasts. They were well cooked and presented also they were hot. The meal area was a little dark.the staff were friendly. The toilet area was clean and well presented but the doors to the cubicles was not able to be secured I will definitely call again.
First time visit to this pub the landlord Carl was great and welcoming it's more like an old fashion local pub, great range of beers the food prices are good I was recommended the pub by a friend who highly recommends the SUNDAY LUNCH GREAT FOOD will definitely be back for a further visit
Been meaning to try here since we moved to the area. Have been three times in two weeks! Absolutely fabulous Sunday Lunches, reasonable priced Don’t eat for a day if you have the extra large! Breakfasts are also fabulous. Warm and friendly welcome by the owners. Highly recommend a visit.
Great atmosphere, very family friendly, fantastic food.
