Met our friends here - that made two households of 4 people. Got offered a good sized table, with plenty room in the cafe itself, to keep social distancing. Coffee and cake very tasty! Would thoroughly recommend. The only reason it got 4 is because the loos are outside
Nice food generally, although my bacon roll had BUTTER SLATHERED on!! YUCK! It wasn't advertised as such so I had no reason to suspect such evil filth was spread on the nice bread, poisoning the food. I removed the infected layers and managed to salvage the sandwich. Would be nice to have been told of this beforehand!!!
Lovely wee coffee shop. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food and coffee was lovely. Only off-putting is toilet is not in cafe but down the lane next to shop.
Coffee and cake was nice but the service was a bit dodgy... we came in at the end of the day, so they might have had a long day, but no excuse for rude and some would say aggressive service. Shame
This was a really lovely little cafe with a real sense of community The staff where very nice and friendly. I got a morning roll with link sausages and a cappuccino both of which where lovley. I would highly recommend this place to others.
Good was nice enough but coffee was pretty weak Good service and nice staff
Very friendly staff and good food.
Great place for a coffee and some food. No wifi which means you have to talk to each other making a very nice atmosphere
A quaint old fashioned cafe and lovely service.
Charming coffeehouse with wider selection of teas than most but otherwise basic fare. Friendly staff. Name I believe is reference to date of earliest coffeehouse in Britain, but is by no means an historic cafe
