The food here was extremely well prepared. The 4-cheese pizza was a spot-on, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the date pudding was delicious. Even the black coffee was well balanced. It was a nice surprise for us to eat at this restaurant during our visit to Castleton. This place worth the trip i took from my home town to London and from London to Castleton

Best restaurant in town! Decent price for Michelin style cuisine! Awesome food and super friendly staff! Been there a few times, the only go to restaurant I’d pick when in Castleton! Great place for date night and family dinner :

Romantic vibes and such great food. So many delicious vegan options, they’ve really taken care to ensure that the vegan food taste just as good, if not better, than the rest of the menu. I would definitely recommend the vegan gnocchi. It was recommended to me by another vegan in the restaurant!

Well finally we have found another gem-1530 restaurant. An italian restaurant in a small english village…hmmmm…alright let’s try. AMAZING!!! Food menu very rich, food itself very fresh and tasty, polite staff, nice garden, delicious deserts and drink menu aswell good. We will definetely come back. Recommend

Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Castleton. The food and drinks were amazing with a variety of vegetarian and vegan options too. Would highly recommend. Only slight downside was that it was a bit cold inside.

Quality food at reasonable prices. The service is great and you can enjoy a nice warm, relaxing seat inside or enjoy the cool and airy surrounds of the back area depending on the time of year you go.

I wouldn't normally order an omelette but wanted something relatively light and this was an amazing omelette! Flavoured and wonderfully cooked. The ginger beer added to a great lunch.

This is a pretty little restaurant with some covered tables out the back and more in the garden for good weather. I was on my own and booked at short notice, so I got the last table under the cover but that didn't matter as the service was just as good as in the main restaurant. The staff are really friendly and approachable. So were the other customers, some of whom were clearly regulars! It has a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the meatball starter and a pizza, both of which were delicious, as was dessert. The three courses and a glass of wine came to £34, which is very good value for such good quality food and atmosphere.

Welcoming place, good food, beer on tap. Varied and interesting menu, will definitely go again. Reasonably priced food, mains from 8-9 quid to over 30, brunch menu was tempting too. Open for lunch, delightful host, long wine list!
