The best meal I had on the Isle of Man! Absolutely gorgeous food, beautifully presented. All tasted amazing and the set lunch menu is such a good deal. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very impressed, can only recommend it.

What a superb lunch. Fantastically prepared, full of flavours and presented at the table by friendly knowledgable staff. I recommend a visit to try for yourself.
Had a fun meal at 14 North last night. Started with a great appetizer, queenies Manx scallops with bacon. Yes, everything with bacon is great but these were prepared perfectly, had nice complexity of flavors, and was a very ample portion. For the main, I had hake, which was a special of the day. Although I felt a preparation I had at Filbey's was the best hake ever, this was very well prepared and again perfectly. The highlight for me was the cheese platter. They offered a very interesting combination of local and European cheeses and the three I had were perfect. It was a great way to finish a fine meal.

Delicious food. I had probably the best hake I have ever had in the UK. Very fresh and extremely tasty. The starter was quite small but tasty as well. The prices are high but it is worth it. Totally recommendable.
Nice food especially the main, however the staff seemed a little pretentious and ruined any pleasantness to the evening. Also, the room was so unbearably hot i couldn't wait to leave. Would not return.
We were disappointed with this restaurant. The menu is very limited & if you fancy a steak you need to make sure your dining companion does too, because you can't have one on your own, despite them being 2 separate pieces of meat. The place lacked atmosphere & is a bit pretentious. Due to lack of choice we skipped the starter & desert. The main course was nice enough but it would have been better if we'd had some options.
I had beef tartare as starter, cod for main. The cod dish was great - a nice piece of fish, with enough sides, so no extras were needed. The beef tartare was OK, although I would have preferred some more taste and smaller minces. Service was great and fast.
The service was brilliant and the food was even better
